About CocoRen

I’m Ray, an artist and photographer traveling between Maryland and New York. I was born in Bangladesh and immigrated to the U.S. as a child. In 2015, I moved to British Columbia.

While in Canada, I completed a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Visual Arts & Art History. I’ve always been very drawn to painting, sculpture, and architecture - but especially so to works from the Renaissance to the Rococo periods; these styles have shaped my eye as an artist and photographer and are the origin of CocoRen.

I spend my spare time watching K-dramas, reading (usually philosophy), painting watercolours, playing the occasional RTS game, etc. And like any photographer, I love to travel - with a special affection for galleries and churches.
